KingBay Gamefishing Club host a Free Recfishing Childrens fishing day at the Kingbay Gantry on Saturday 1st May with 34 children attending.The guy's from Recfishing WA ( who supplied the fishing gear and bait)and Kingbay members assisted the kids fishing off the Dampier Foreshore to catch some of the species available in the Harbour, all the kids had a fun day fishing ...
Blake Benbow caught this Black Jew night fishing in one of the Local creeks in the Karratha area along with Barramundi and Salmon which were all tagged,measured and release for Club points for our club monthly ($50.00) tag and capture awards.
Jo Tatham on "Back in Black" tagged this 100kg (approx) Black Marlin During the 2010 GAMEX comp in Exmouth this year on 24kg standup on a Pakula lure
KBGFC runs social events through the year including bait rigging nights and regular fishing competitions. The Dampier Classic is traditionally held on the FENACAL long weekend. KBGFC also holds the popular Estuary Challenge Barra competition which is a measure and release comp.
